Nickelodeon brand managers needed a way to provide licensees and creative partners with the rules that define the brand and the tools to create products and programs that express that brand. CMN worked closely with Nickelodeon to write, design, and produce the Rules&Tools Style Guide, a guide that supports Nickelodeon's approach to creating entertainment for kids. As well as introducing the culture and history of the company, the kit includes good and bad examples of copy, graphics, products, packaging, special events, advertising, and shows.
