CMN Wins Silver CASE Award

COREY MCPHERSON NASH WINS SILVER AWARD FROM COUNCIL FOR ADVANCEMENT AND SUPPORT OF EDUCATION

Noble and Greenough School Award Marks CMN's Fifth CASE Honor

WATERTOWN, MA January 27, 2004 Corey McPherson Nash (CMN/ http://www.cmndesign.com), an award-winning integrated design firm providing branding, advertising, print and interactive services, today announced its print design work for the Noble and Greenough School's admissions package has been honored with a Silver Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District 1 Publication Awards. CMN's work for the Noble and Greenough School was selected in the Complete Admissions Package category out of a field of several hundred entries; the Noble and Greenough School Viewbook also received an honorable mention as a stand-alone piece in the Viewbooks category. The CASE Publication Awards recognize outstanding achievement in higher education, independent school, and non-profit organization communications. Judges assess overall design, content and writing, and use of photography, graphics and technology. CMN has previously received CASE awards for its work for The Middlesex School, Swarthmore College, Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols and Bowdoin College.

The strong relationships between talented students and energetic teachers define the rigorous and lively educational culture at Noble and Greenough School. This theme is illustrated through four in-depth profiles at the beginning of the Viewbook, and it is reinforced throughout the piece, both with words and images. A single ribbon of color and small photographs runs continuously throughout the book, symbolizing the marriage of community and diversity at the school and providing counterpoint to the larger images. The documentary style of photography captures the life of the school in many dimensions and encourages the reader to arrange a visit to the campus.

"This most recent award marks the fifth time CMN has been honored by CASE," said Michael McPherson, CMN partner. "Education has long been one of CMN's strongest markets and one in which we have significant competencies across our branding, interactive and print capabilities. We're proud to have our work for Noble and Greenough School recognized by CASE, and congratulate our client in joining us in accepting this honor."
