COREY MCPHERSON NASH AWARDED DESIGN AND BRANDING SERVICES FOR WSI CORP <)> CMN Establishes Cohesive Look and Feel for WSI's Aviation and Marine Divisions
WATERTOWN, Mass. March 9, 2004 -- Corey McPherson Nash (CMN/ http://www.cmndesign.com), an award-winning integrated design firm providing branding, advertising, print and interactive services, today announced it has been awarded design and branding services by Andover, Mass.-based WSI Corp, one of the world's largest suppliers of real-time weather data, imagery and weather forecast services to commercial customers in the broadcast, aviation, energy, marine, retail, and government markets, to provide design services to its aviation and marine divisions.
CMN had previously completed work for WSI, including a redesign of the Marine Solutions division's Web presence and the design of point-of-purchase displays, and the creation of direct mail tools for the Aviation Solutions group to help WSI unify the look and feel of two of its key and growing markets. CMN also developed product data sheet templates that can be used for both the Aviation and Marine product lines. This newest work for WSI includes a refreshing of the Aviation Solutions division's product suite brochure and the design of the Marine Solutions division's corporate brochure.
In their work for WSI, CMN employs a scale of blues, from light to dark, to create a unifying "wedge." This wedge element helps create a sense of movement and speed relevant to the aviation audience, and acts as a wave form for the marine audience, enabling WSI to present its products, services and company as a strong, cohesive brand. Important throughout all aspects of the marine division assignment is to create a look and feel that complements the corporate color palette of WSI's sister company, The Weather Channel.
"Because WSI's product and service offerings are so broad, it is important for us to create a brand image that could be easily translated into different marketing mediums, across several corporate divisions," said Andrea Naddaff, CMN partner and vice president of new business development. "We are thrilled to continue our relationship with WSI and its aviation and marine divisions to create a cohesive look and feel for the company and we're pleased our initial work together has developed into a series of ongoing projects."
WSI Corp is the world's leading provider of weather-driven business solutions for professionals in the aviation, media and energy markets, and multiple federal and state government agencies.
