McPherson to Present on "Expanding Your Business Development Possibilities"
WATERTOWN, Mass. April 21, 2004 -- Corey McPherson Nash (CMN/ http://www.cmndesign.com), an award-winning integrated design firm providing branding, advertising, print and interactive services, today announced Michael McPherson, partner and creative director, will participate in a panel presentation entitled, "Expanding Your Business Development Possibilities," part of a professional development series being sponsored by the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA). The seminar is taking place April 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Boston Foundation offices, 75 Arlington Street in Boston. Joining McPherson on the panel will be Andy Tiedemann, Director of Communications for Harvard University Development and Alumni Affairs; Amy Hardcastle, senior vice president/management supervisor at Hill, Holliday; and Colleen FitzPatrick, director of sports and event marketing for John Hancock. McPherson's panel will discuss how successful firms and individuals develop and maintain consistent development pipelines and advance their businesses.

McPherson's work has received numerous national and international awards. He is a frequent contributor to design and marketing publications, has served as a juror for several distinguished design competitions and has also spoken at the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), University and College Designers Association and the AIGA. McPherson is on the Advisory Council of the DMI and the Advisory Board of the AIGA Boston and teaches part-time at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is the recipient of the 2001 Fellows Award from AIGA Boston.
