Project Aimed at Helping Oxfam America Build Awareness, Broaden Constituent Base
WATERTOWN, Mass. May 24, 2004 -- Corey McPherson Nash (CMN/ http://www.cmndesign.com), an award-winning integrated design firm providing branding, advertising, print and interactive services, today announced it has been selected by Oxfam America (www.oxfamamerica.org) to redesign the organization's Web site. Headquartered in Boston, Mass., Oxfam America is dedicated to finding long-term solutions to poverty, hunger, and social injustice around the world. The organization works to eliminate the root causes of social and economic inequities by challenging the structural barriers that foster conflict and human suffering and limit people from gaining the skills, resources, and power to become self-sufficient.
The primary objectives of the Web site redesign are to help Oxfam America with its public education efforts to increase awareness of the group's mission; assist with fund raising goals; and build a platform to support the organization's growing online community. CMN will provide Web site redesign, as well as a set of HTML templates for ongoing use.
"All of us at CMN are strong believers in the work being done today by Oxfam America," said Chris Klaehn, partner at Corey McPherson Nash. "It's a privilege for us to provide our Web design services, traditionally one of the studio's strongest capabilities, to an organization with their outstanding history and mission."
CMN will work within Oxfam America's existing brand, including the organization's logo, color palette and typeface, in redesigning the Web site. CMN will also use a mix of both professional photography, as well as amateur photography taken at field sites, to illustrate the power of Oxfam America's programs in action. The new Web site is expected to go live in the fall of 2004.
Now celebrating its 21st year of business, CMN provides thoughtful design solutions for branding, print and interactive communications for clients including Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols, Eastman Kodak, Clear Channel Communications and Cubist Pharmaceuticals, among others. With capabilities in print and interactive media, CMN analyzes and enhances brand equity throughout all applications.
