CMN Named Design Firm of Record for AIGA Design Conference

CMN Honored with Creating Theme and Design Brand for more than 2,500 Designers

WATERTOWN, Mass. - April 25, 2005 - Corey McPherson Nash (CMN/ http://www.cmndesign.com), an award-winning integrated design firm providing branding, advertising, print and interactive services, today announced it has been selected by AIGA, the professional association for design, as the design firm of record for the biennial AIGA design conference. Charged with identifying a theme and branding the conference materials, CMN will work with AIGA to create an inspirational environment for more than 2,500 world-class designers.

The AIGA Design Conference is a gathering of the design community to celebrate design excellence, reinforce friendships and connections and stimulate thinking about the critical issues that surround design practice. The conference is recognized as one of the most engaging, provocative, inspiring and fun conferences offered in the design community. CMN will be responsible for designing everything from pre-conference direct mail postcards to promotional web images to conference give-away tote bags.

"We are honored to be selected as the agency of record for the AIGA Design Conference," said Michael McPherson, partner and creative director at Corey McPherson Nash. "This is a great opportunity to show our peers what we can do, though it is daunting to have the entire design community judging our efforts. We are eager to put our team to work to build excitement around this conference."

CMN will work to create an umbrella theme that can be carried throughout its print and online branding efforts. The overall theme will translate into mini-themes, to showcase the different expressions and forms of design. It will encourage creative thinking and illustrate the broad cultural and economic context of design. CMN will immediately begin working on the conference branding. Conference attendees will get its first taste of the conference in April, when the poster for the conference is mailed.
