Boston Museum Project Brings Corey Mcpherson Nash on Board for Campaign Communication and Messaging Services

Museum slated for Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway chooses creative partner

WATERTOWN, MA – February 6, 2007 – Corey McPherson Nash (CMN) the branding and design studio, today announced that it has been selected by the Boston Museum Project (BMP) for campaign communication and messaging services. This new cultural and civic institution will help both residents and tourists understand Boston’s rich history and impact on the nation and the world. The BMP is slated for the new Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway on a prime downtown location adjacent to Quincy Market.

CMN was selected by the BMP to help clearly articulate its mission to a broad, diverse audience. The museum was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie, and recently announced the addition of several new advisory board members including historians Doris Kearns Goodwin and Henry Louis Gates, Jr., along with former White House advisor David Gergen.

“We are thrilled to be working with the Boston Museum on this historic project,” said Andrea Naddaff, partner, Corey McPherson Nash. “The Museum will be a cultural institution unlike any other in Boston. CMN will provide the communication tools the Boston Museum Project needs to reach its campaign goals, communicate its vision to the public and attract an audience that, like the museum, will represent every segment of Boston.”

The Museum, which will include galleries, learning labs, theatre, and event and meeting space, will showcase Boston’s role in the making and remaking of America’s identity. Designed to serve as a place of engagement, discovery and pride for city residents, the museum will also enhance the Boston experience for visitors who wish to immerse themselves in Boston’s history and culture and will promote visits other city venues and historic sites.

“We are excited to have CMN providing us with creative services,” said Anne Emerson, president of the Boston Museum Project. “As the project moves forward, it becomes increasingly critical that we be able to effectively communicate our vision to potential donors and the public. CMN’s experience working with other important Boston cultural institutions means that they are well prepared to work with us.”
